Thanksgiving 2017

Image
Mom and Dad Schmidt came to visit for Thanksgiving and we were so excited. While they were here Sam said, "It feels like everyone is here". It truly is wonderful to be with family.  We showed them our new house, walked to Sam's school and around the neighborhood.  We traveled up north for a little bit of hiking. Fall is a beautiful time in Arkansas. We celebrated Thanksgiving with a feast at our house before going to Branson, Missouri for some wonderful shows. . We so enjoyed the shows. Even Nora got into them. She especially loved clapping for them. Ruby found ways to catch sleep during them too.   Dixie Stampede was Sam's favorite! We also explored over the Conway for their tree lighting social.     How very blessed we are.

Sam got to go on his first field trip to a pumpkin patch! His school put on a Veteran's and Thanksgiving assembly which he performed at and we enjoyed attending. He made a great Corn on the Cob, "Pop, pop, pop" Sam loves kindergarten and is doing well. Every time we go visit Nora wants to stay. We did have lunch with Sam several times. It's fun to see him in the school setting. Mrs. Harris has been a wonderful teacher and Sam has thoroughly enjoyed kindergarten.
