Ben, Chantal, Jet and Eden Howell were new to the Jacksonville, Arkansas area like us and were good to share the Thanksgiving holiday with us. We missed being with family but it was sure fun to get to know these guys better and share with each other our different family traditions. Sam loved having playmates. He knows them by name and every Sunday on our way to church Sam is saying "Jet and Eden" because we see them at church. Thanks to the Howell's we had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
It took me a week to get a picture -- quite the funny story why on campus too. :) 4 weeks before this little guy gets here... he better not be late... and I am feeling more pregnant each day Just a few affects of pregnancy I am experiencing lately: groaning when I get up off the floor, or out of the car bumping into walls finding myself not fitting through those corners I used to fit through changing my workout because of belly bouncing too much or awkward pains not being able to STOP eating – I guess I am “eating for two” rubbing my belly my bum hurting after sitting in the same spot for a while – I am definitely all about finding a comfortable place to sit sleeping with a pillow between my legs - but still sleeping through the nights, yeah! waddling, or at least feeling like I am Look at the proud father to be --- and the stroller is taken apart to hand wash it. 1 Month before our baby is due -- my friends put on a fantastic shower for me! It was so much fun catching up with friends. Justin decided me going out with friends is a great thing -- I come home really chipper! It was a book themed shower -- I am so excited to read to our little boy. It definitely helped us get a good start on our Children's portion of the Schmidt Library. A special thank you Kaylee, Marissa, and Brittney for putting it on and thank you friends for coming! I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends.
For all those years I was a convenient fan for the current school I was attending, I am making up for it now! This weekend we attended the BYU v USU Basketball game and the San Jose vs USU Football game. Before married life, basketball games caught my interest once in a while and football games, ugh not even a temptation, except for the big ones, and those I could only talk myself into maybe half of the game. But, this weekend I proved that I can be a dedicated fan too! Now keep in mind I did not say a hard-core fan. :) Friday after work at 4pm I stood in line for basketball tickets until they let us in around 6pm, the game did not even start until 7PM! I have NEVER waited in lines to get into a sporting event, let alone for 3 hours. Oh how married life has changed me. Ha ha, Actually I think part of the reason why I was so willing to do this, is because our life as students is slowly fading. Technically I am no longer a student, but with the spouses car...
